Default PDC Sensor Troubleshooting

Hello All

Been a while on the forum, but I'm back to feed on the wealth of information.

Now the time has come to say goodbye to my E60 530iSE UK Model, however before it goes, it needs some TLC. A front PDC sensor is malfunctioning detecting something there when its not. This sensor did come off its little hole and someone decided to glue it back onto the bumper. So has anyone got any tips to resolve. To get to the sensor does the bumper have to come off? If so, how? Any help would be appreciated.

Also the lacquer is coming off the front (with the stone chips) and the mirrors.. if theres anyone round the Birmingham (UK) are please get in touch!

Apologies if this post is in the wrong place... I still consider myself as a noob
