Well, i was wondering if putting a PDC on a non PDC car is possible, i am going to get the M-Tech kit, and they come with the holes for the sensors, so i figured if i can install them and hook them up as well, im sure i need to get the car to a dealer to flash the idrive system to allow the PDC. so is this possible. ????

hmm, i don't have much of an answer but i did a quick search and this was the first thread that came up

http://forums.e60.net/lofiversion/index.php/t10828.html

someone mentioned it could be done but would cost 1k+ and bring some problems?

if your looking at that price, i'm sure theres many aftermarket alternatives to choose from. hope that helps

I had a number plate PDC system installed on my 2004 model. Not worth the expense. It was expensive, took the agents ages to get it working to any degree of reliability, and it had to be swtiched on and off manually. If you can't get the full system installed then my advice is don't consider BMW's other option.
