Mine did the same,it's on it's way out i'm sorry to say,i've just ordered one from my main dealer, try the WD40 method as some have mentioned as it may just be a bit of dirt, but seeing the temp's here in the UK have been pretty bad over the last few week's i'm sure this has some thing to do with it,as mine was fine until I had to leave it outside for a week during the worst of the snow and it started playing up after that.

so u have sent ur car to the stealer? what did they say about it? because mine is going in tmr. but it costs around 106 pounds just to check it!!!
can u plx explain in details about the WD40 method?
it was fine before i did the headlight retrofit. but it just didnt work after the retrofit, but then it just didnt work but then suddenly it just works ag, so i thought it was fine. however it turns out to be working occassionally.....
p.s. i left my car outside in heavy snow as well.

I have a very good BMW independent here in Huddersfield, they charged me nothing to test it using an autologic box,you can check it your self by pressing the PDC button with the ignition set to ACC(no need for engine running)you'll see the picture of the car in the idrive screen,go round the car and put your ear to each and everyone of the PDC sensor's and you should hear a faint ticking noise from them, the one which is faulty won't.The WD40 method is a simple spraying of the faulty sensor and hoping that it may have some dirt or moisture in it and the WD40 may be able to get it working again, good luck mate but don't pay yer steeler ?106 as the fitting and part(special order as it has to be colour coded) would prob cost you around ?300+ going by your robbing steeler's price's.
