pdc on e6o doesnt work.. any ideas????

hi there. One of the front sensor failed to work in cold weather,but no PDC FAILURE was showen.. I tryied to open it from outside(was using screwdriver)... Anyway, i couldnt open it and warning message came on straight away.. DID I DAMAGE THE ACTUAL SENSOR? is it pricy job????

Its quite common for PDC sensor to behave strangely in cold weather especially if there's frozen moisture ... the sensor is actually pop inward as oppose to outward (after you undo the clip behind the bumper) ... the fact that it wasn't set off any PDC warning before and after mocking around w/ screwdriver now there's warning ... yes ... quite possible you damage it during the process.

Each sensor maybe not that pricy but labor to replace it maybe, depend on the location it may require bumper removal or atleast the front grill or headlight ... to be exact check with your dealer.
