hey guys, need a little help here (minor issue) i can't seem to get the pathway lights to go on after parking and locking the car. the book says after you park your vehicle the headlights will turn on after you lock it as your walking away???

thanks in advance...

Confirming that you are going into the iDrive and programming the time of the lights being left on in seconds. Is that what you mean by "the book says"?
that should work given the car being set up the way I'm familiar with.

I think you're missing an important step.

In order for the pathway lighting feature to function, you need to pull back on the turn signal stalk (as if you're flashing your beams at someone) after you turn the car off and remove the key...

I think it works either way -- no need for auto...
