hey guys, need a little help here (minor issue) i can't seem to get the pathway lights to go on after parking and locking the car. the book says after you park your vehicle the headlights will turn on after you lock it as your walking away???

Confirming that you are going into the iDrive and programming the time of the lights being left on in seconds. Is that what you mean by "the book says"?

I think you're missing an important step.
In order for the pathway lighting feature to function, you need to pull back on the turn signal stalk (as if you're flashing your beams at someone) after you turn the car off and remove the key...

ill try the beam flashing part tomorrow and see if it works......do i have to set the headlamps to auto or does it work either way??? thanks again fellas

what is pathway lighting?
when ever i get out of my car at night the little lights underneath my side view mirrors stay on for the amount of seconds i have programmed into the iDrive.
