Passenger side airbag, and seat belt restraints waring?

My Ride: 04' 545i SMG , Oriental Blue, Congiac Leather Interior, Nav., Park Assist, Logic 7, Sports Pkg, Cross drilled slotted rotors, ceramic pads, SS Brake lines, free flow air filter and a supercharger (coming soon)etc.....all the good stuff
Passenger side airbag, and seat belt restraints waring?
This is what came up in my display. How does this happen, and why?(understanding there a malfunction) Is it a default for that specific year, a recall....?
Now I haev to wait a week to get it to the dealer, for them to hold for an entire day for what?

I hope this help i had my seat belt mat sensor replaced by the dealer, its was done under warranty and paid for. I have 60k on my car when it was done. Had this done like few weeks ago. It was a days work, call your SA make an appointment they are aware of this problem.

I have read several threads on passenger seat sensor issues. Not sure if that would be related, but in all of the threads, it appeared that the dealership covered at no cost to the owner. Anything safety related, the dealership tends to repair with less of a warranty stipulation.

Yeah mine came on a few days ago. Took it to dealer and it was caused by a bad positive battery cable. They had to take my car apart, remove the positive cable which pretty much runs through the whole car, and put in a new one.
