Hello, this afternoon i got a passenger safety malfunction check control message. The detailed description said something along the lines of possible seat belt tension adjustment and/or airbag sensitivity or malfunction. I don't remember exactly what it said, but it did say to continue to wear the belt. Restarted the car a few minutes after, and it was gone. It said to have it checked out. What do you think? Have you seen this before? Thanks.

cheers,

Jack

Jack - Take your girlfriend or wife on a little roadtrip tonight to test that passenger airbag.

Hi Jack

I just got the same message on the way home tonight. After restarting the car it had gone. Did you go to BMW service or has it not come back since and maybe was just a transitory thing.

Cheers

Had the same issue--there's a TIS on this--they clean the battery terminal connections, and I haven't had the problem since.
