Default SRS Passenger Restraint light

Guys I've had this light on for about 4 months and it is driving me crazy. 2004 E60 530i production 9/03 not covered accdg to stealership and BMW corp. getting 98B7 code. I've tried vehix922 resistors/diode approach but I have 3 wires not 2, and can't figure out if that is applicable. I use a C110 to get rid of the SBSR FC but it comes back on after about 2 mins. Any ideas? I'd like to use resistors approach if someone can tell me red/brown/white wiring schema. Thanks in advance.

I really do not believe no one have a real fix for this problem as it seams a chronic disease for most e60s.

To avoid the guess work, read the diagnostic codes.
Several components can trigger that error. Just because replacement of a part worked for someone doesn't mean that's the offending part on your car.

i read the code with INPA and got SBSR 95B8. as far as i see this indicates the faulty mat sensor? can someone confirm it? as i see folks say that this is covered by 10 year warranty? is this true?
i also see that that mat sensor cost $150 but how easy it is to replace? have anyone done it?

For the 93B2, try this first. Disconnect the battery cables and clean them. Then put them back on and tighten it really good. Basically the "high resistance" that caused the code could just be a loose cable.

My car is an 06' and I've had the 93C2 code. I had the dealer replace the matt back in 2011 while the car was under warranty. However, the warranty on the matt is only good for 10 years starting from when the car was first sold meaning I have about a year left on the sensor matt.

Thanks for advise.it's been few days since I clear the code and did not come back yet.

It most likely disappeared after the battery cables were properly cleaned and/or tightened after the battery replacement.
