PASSENGER RESTRAINT FAILURE?

My Ride: black 2004 bmw 525i
20x8.5, 20x10 black sevas s-55
today we got into my car and when i turns the car on the heads up unit displayed sayin passenger restraint failure, it said something about the seat belt or tension had affected the airbag. does anyone kno wat this means???????? and do you knoe how much it cost to fix? has anyone had this problem before?

I had that happen 3 times already. It means that passenger side seatbelt or airbag might not work if you get in an accident. This should be replaced for free as long as your car is still under warranty.
