Passenger door control module
I have a 2005 525i production date is 01/2005. I recently install a passenger door module (which didn't have one but is required unless nothing would work in the door) after installing the window motor it just clicks & I get an anti trap function disabled error message on my idrive. Wondering do I need to program the module to my vehicle in order for the window to function properly? Also, what plugs into these two plugs on the module?
The lights work but when I go to let down or up the window only thing I hear is clicks. But all the other windows work. Could it be a bad module?
SOLVED: big s/o to @seanjordan20 with his help I had to program & code the module to get everything to work. Also, change system time & replace the window motor & them two plugs mentioned is for the mirror.

Oh man you bought used and don't know how to change the VIN. WINKFP is the program you're looking for. Program it, code it, then initialize it. Takes less than 5 mins to complete

Do you have an airbag light on the speedometer. If so system time will have to be restarted also using Tool32. Of course if the module you changed looks like what's attached.

that's exactly what the module looks like & yes i do have the airbag light & seat belt light on. How do I "restart system time using Tool32"?
