Hi folks, new member in Scotland.
Picking up my 56 plate 520d M Sport in carbon black, this Thursday.
Just wondering if any of the forum members have info on fitting an aftermarket Parrot Bluetooth system to an E60?
Am fairly tech savvy, and looking to fit the system myself.
Great forum.
Cheers

Hi,I'm a new member myself but I'm also an ex mechanic and engineer for 20 years.
Only today I've fitted a Parrot CK3000 with the BMW steering wheel adaptor (CTPPAR009) so there is no need for an external control pad to my 57 plate 520d It was the first time I've done it and found it quite easy,I just took my time and was patient.
I got my kit from www.incarhandsfree.co.uk and found them very very helpful and well priced kit (£131.75 for CK3000 including postage and adaptor). I also bought a Dension Gateway 500 but was advised not to buy the bluetooth add on for it as it received poor reviews (only seems to work well with iPhones).

If you'd like to chat about this or would like some help... I'm near Glasgow.

Cheers mate, am actually in Saltcoats.
All parts present today, so hopefully get it all fitted tonight when I get my car back from the wife lol
Some good info and breakdowns on here, so hopefully, all looks pretty straightforward.
Have the 3100 kit with the E60 loom, so pretty much plug and play.
Wish ad taken the kit out of my 300c before I traded it to Breahead, but thems the breaks I guess.
Thanks again and keep you all posted.
Al

You guys are lucky there to have BMW diesel engines. I love their sound.
