Question

I have 2008 528 xi with PDC and ACC (picked up in April 2007)
My front PDC-sensor came loose and it is behind the socket and sort of hanging behind the bumper,
No damage of any kind(color/dent/scratch)
Is this covered in warranty? Taking it to a BMW local dealer tommorrow .
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/advice.

I imagine it would be covered under warranty unless it's evident that the popped out sensor was caused by some sort of impact to it or to the bumper...

I had a flat the other day and no spare (switched from RunOnFlat to regular tyres 3 weeks ago and then had my first flat in 20 years - on brand new high quality winter tyres - go figure!) and to boot, I was overseas and local repair guys told me it would be min 1 week to get a new low quality wintertyre and they refused to fix my high quality high speed tyre! Net result, I had to order a tow truck to take me to the ferry and another to pick me up from the ferry (lucky I'm insured for the transport..).

OK, to the crux of the story; the 2nd towtruck guy was old and confused and on top of that, very tired as it was the end of his shift on a frozen winter midnight eve; so when he was looking for the flap to attach the tow hook in my front bumper, he decided to push in one of my parking sensors through the bumper! It is now hanging nicely inside the bumper and every time the sensors switch on, there is of course a constant beeping sound which is driving me nuts!

I've figured out how to take the kidney grilles out but haven't done it yet and I need to know whether I can access the middle front parking sensors from behind the bumper, if I remove the grilles?
