Thumbs up

I'm a little confused by something...

Under "Parked Car Operation", I have a couple settings listed. One indicates "activate time" or something like that. The other indicates "automatic ventilation". When I choose a time under "Activate time", what am I activating? I always thought it was the "Automatic Ventilation". But when I go to actually select "Automatic Ventilation", it's gray'd out. When I try to chose it with Voice Commands, it indicates "Mode Unavailable" or something like that.

Can someone enlighten me on this whole thing? I have selected two start times and checked the boxes. But why is "Automatic Ventilation" gray'd out?

Thanks all...

The two start times will work at the preset time. The automatic ventilation setting is an on-demand function that allows you to turn on the blower right away. It's grayed out if the key is in position two.

Turn the key to position one and the grey will dissapear...

Every time I examine "Parked Car Operation", the times are unchecked. In other words, the two start times will cycle through only one time, and not again until you re-check again.

Is this normal?

This is normal because if you left your car unattended for more than a day, the fans would drain your battery. In fact, it is recommended that you only use one of the two scheduled times - running it twice without starting your car may completely drain your battery.
