painting Calipers.. need some info!!
mate that looks sweet doing the clips black i will change mine next time wheels come off at home.
i did one full side at a time moving from front to back, back to front etc i jacked the front with trolly jack, redged the other side with big rocks and but a axle stand at the rear. it was sweet and then put it in N so i could turn the disks
i left them bolted on
brief
remove spring clips
remove sensors
wire brush them
sand paper fairly course to smooth dont need to be amazing but my callipers seemed almost new after a brush
then i did the same to the disks hubs but used hammerite silver smooth
next i applied 3/4 layers of hammerite red smooth to each caliper alowing apx 20 mins drying and hit each one with the har drier as well wich made them really shine! my mate used same paint his dont look so shiney deep red they almost look like they have been dipped in a coat of plastic if that makes sence...
these are 2 weeks later and was last washed 4 days ago...sorry phone pics!!..
