i got this error code the other day. the autozone guy read it, then it went away after he read it. i thought that was weird...he said he didn't/couldn't clear it. anyhow, anyone know what it means?

But i have no idea what show we do?

i have a 2007 BMW 525i
89000 Miles

Also car ideals rough. or stopped at a stop light

my car does the same at idle or stop lights...hrmm...sounds like it could be the same thing. i had the code pulled at autozone but he accidentally cleared the code. will the dealer still be able to pull it up in the history?

turns out mine was a bad exhaust solenoid (whatever that means). it probably will fix the rough idle and (hopefully) improve the gas mileage.

Sounds to me like it was the exhaust camshaft position sensor. It would make sense that you would get an engine position description for the fault as the cam sensor reads the position of the camshaft
