unfortunately I don't think so unless you measure draw at the headunit harness or have access to a diagnostic device (GT1 etc)

Hey guys,
My oem bat dead and i replaced it with an after market same specs battery. The shop did register the battery and everything. Everything was fine untill i left it over night and try to start in the cold monring. I mean the car would start fine but it pops up " intensive battery discharge " and tells me to set the time. So i try to took the IBS sensor off and i got no more error message. But i measure the battery after a 1 hour drive from 12.6 something drops down to 12.25 over night. Is this normal at all ?

Disconnecting the IBS and then having no more discharge will tell you that the IBS is damaged and needs to be replaced (most common in cars 2004-2007 when the IBS construction allowed moisture damage).
However, disconnecting the IBS and then still having discharge tells you it isn't the IBS. You also remove monitoring of the battery so even if the IBS wasn't the problem you have also removed monitoring and won't see the warning light as the charge drops because the IBS isn't there to measure it.
Dropping from 12.6V to 12.25 is not normal overnight.
I assume you have check for easy solutions like aftermarket wiring for radar detectors, stereos and even bluetooth modules left plugged into the OBDII port.
Later model E60s have had problems with comfort access door handles.

2004 e60 battery draining overnight
I and a couple other M5 owners had a similar problem and after checking/changing things like the IBS, Comfort Access (CAS) module, door sensors..etc..they narrowed it down to a faulty Telematics Control Unit (TCU) which was keeping the car from going to sleep and draining the battery over night. Some people say one way to check is to turn off the car but maybe sit inside of it and wait to see if you hear noises from modules still staying on. Another way is if the shift indicator light on your shifter is still lit.
Hope you sort things out and that it won't be too costly.

Regarding the car not going to sleep and the battery drains, why not connect the amps to the female cigarette outlet port in the trunk.
This is the outlet in the trunk for auxiliary light or tire pump.
We know this port is not live when the car is off.
