Although I took delivery of my 550 on June 24th, I have not yet posted pics due to a variety of excuses.
I took these pics with a Canon EOS 1 on film and transferred to digital.
1) They were repaving the streets in my subdivision and it was difficult to get the car out of the garage during this time.
2) Was traveling and on vacation.
3) Had my driveway re blacktopped.
4) Had my car in to BMW paint shop because the aero kit (installed at the NJ port was full of paint defects that took my BMW paint shop over a week to fix.
I have done the following d.i.y. modifications since 6/24.
a) Installed eject box and V3 Razr snap in adaptor.
b) Installed wiring for Valentine radar dectector.
c) Installed Ipod interface and had BMW load software (took 3 hours for the software update this past Sat).
One pic shows a sample album and songs on Ipod screen. The Ipod adaptor took me a little over an hour to do myself without instructions on how to remove the glovebox. I had no 6 CD changer just prewire.
d) Install of M spoiler.
I have my my Wife's MY 03 325xi in the background on a couple of shots. Its painted in a custom color, silverstone blue metallic, which was only available std on early 5 series in 2003.
Let me see if I can attach pics...

Looks great! Glad you could finally post some pics ... and hopefully you can finally drive the 550 like it is meant to be driven. ![Devil](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/devil.gif)
What are your overall impressions so far? How is the night-vision?
Also, what is the flooring material in your garage? Looks cool.

So far I love the car. Everything about it is beyond my expectations. My other car is a Toyota 4runner so I am not used to the speed and acceleration of this car. To go from an underpowered SUV to a 360 hp BMW is quite a change.
I wanted to do something different with my garage floor. I had had it painted gray in the past and that wore off. So I checked out epoxy flooring. I like doing things myself but I quickly decided this was not something I would do myself. You need at least one helper and the possibility of total disaster was high so I contracted it out. I went with a Company called Premier Garage. You can choose custom colors, so we decided to go with the two blues from our cars and black and white chips. They sand the concrete and level it off. Then they apply this clear epoxy and toss the color chips in the air to disperse them. Then the cover the dried chips in more clear epoxy. Guranteed for the life of the home.
We have been very happy with it and it cleans up easily. Also there is enough grit in the exposed chip edges to provide great traction.
