Maybe the phone cradle can't be removed without permanent damage and that's why you don't find it on the CD !??

That's a possibility. I think the first person willing to take the plunge and follow the above directions will be able to shed more light on this. (Don't look at me -- I have the phone! )

Well . . . . I printed the instructions pages 9-15 and deployed to the garage with credit card in hand, split between optimism and apprehension. The optimism soon disappeared. That 00 9 341 must be a very thin tool, because there is no way that a cc will slide in. Matter of fact I could not get a .008" feeler gauge in that crack.<_<

So, kscarroll, you are elected to be the pioneer.

Thanks JDN, while I appreciate the vote of confidence, I'll have to think about this one. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person. Hanging pictures or changing oil is about the extent of my skills (and my tool box!). Sounds more like a job for my dealer next time I'm in for something.
