Wow, love the X5 and Diesel too 
I'm in the market for a smaller SUV too, have been looking really hard at the new X3 - wish they sold it in the US in Diesel.

Awesome!! We used to have an X5 and it was a great car to drive. Took it on a few roadtrips and it was comfortable and roomy. Enjoy...... 
. The new X3 though is ugly. I always hated the X3... every X3 driver I have ever seen or met thinks they are some sort of king on the road.
