Just picked up a 2005 530i. About a week ago. Still under original warranty. A few things I would like to see if the warranty covers--the driver side window button trim piece is a rubbery material and the paint is pealing as well as the steering column paint starting to peel. Also the wood trim piece around the shifter has a small crack in it. Will these items be covered under the warranty? I've read many dealer experiences on here and it seems hit or miss depending on the SA you talk to. Can someone please elaborate?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

definitely take it in and try...worst they can say is no, if they do..try another dealer/SA...GL

It usually comes down to how good of a rapport you have with your SA...
