Ordering 535d...wait for Sport Auto box or not??

Wait, whether or not you want the sport Auto box the updated standard Auto should be a signifigant improvement

Wait (if you can bear it...)

- faster gear changes (up & down)
- additional cost is small (supposedly)
- some think the shifter looks nicer than the new standard on (I do)
- the paddles are cool and you might use them

It such a pity it's not available at launch. June seems so far away :-(
I presume when they say from June production this means you that is when the factory start making them, not when you would be likely to receive it (unless you live nearby).

What do faster gear changes do for us - genuine question - I assume it would mean something if you were on a track or racing a legacy 535d off the lights...

But there's the "nice" and "cool" stuff too...

Id suggest you drive a 335i with the new Auto box to see just what a difference in everyday driving the new box makes
I wont take another Auto that isnt of the new design

Well I won't be driving the 335i unless I get a loaner BUT I WILL drive the new 535d to compare "like with like"...

I understood that the FL car ia already with neu Auto just it is not Autosport version with paddles yet?
