So far so good. I got a call yesterday and today from my new sales rep. She has been great so far and is really thorough and responsive. I'd like to say that today I ordered the new car. I have to pay the difference for the upgraded options but I get those at invoice price. Total $4735. new options in bold.

I ordered the 535xi Platinum Grey with Black interior, Step Auto, Sports package, Premium package, Cold weather package, 18" wheels, Logic 7, Comfort access, ipod adapt, Navigation, Sat radio, Rear spoiler, Extended Clear coat bra.

She said she will call me during the week and give me the tracking number.

I like to thank this group, my friend JR and Paul for advice and the knowledge of this vehicle. Our rights are always challenged and if you are not well informed you may be taken advantaged of. Research applied with knowledge is power and of course a little luck.

Why didn't you order Sport Automatic Transmission? It's a great option.

Only available with the 535I not the 535XI. If that was the case I would have definately ordered that option.

I almost ordered the foldown seats but I recall someone on the forum writing about noise from that area. I feel there is more support with the metal backing anyway.

I've had fold-down rear seats on my four 5ers and none of them made any noise. They come in very handy when you need to put a bunch of stuff in the car...

freed0m,
There is a service bulletin to replace the door seals. My seals were also creaking and I had all four of them replaced two months ago at the dealer, no charge. It is all quiet now!

The service bulletin is fairly well known around here -- the problem is that many people have had their seals replaced under the service bulletin only to have the creaking noise return a bit later.

Hopefully, your seals will remain quiet but don't be surprised if they start to creak again...
