My Ride: 2006 530 d M-sport e60
I just booked a mobile service to fit f Avon ZZ3 non run-flats to my car tomorrow and have just been told I will have to sign a disclaimer, the guy I spoke to on the phone said the car is designed for run-flat tyres and non run-flats will mess up the hander-ling.
My other 530d seamed ok with non-runflats, maybe there have been claims and what not. Very odd

What?!?
Since your car could be bought new with both RFL and non-RFL tyres(depending on wheel version)I find it hard to believe this.
If you get hold of this disclaimer, could you scan and upload it to the forum? Would be interesting to read it...

Arrant nonsense ! If you were fitting tyres with the incorrect speed or load rating then that would be different.

I have dealt with company before, they are called e-tyres and this is the second set of non run-flats they have done for me, so I am unsure why this has been introduced now, If I get the same driver I will ask as he his pretty decent.
