First of all congratulations for this excellent site, the best I've seen; lot of useful info and valuable comments.

I just ordered a new 525i some days ago (See signature). I tried to track the order with "owners circle US" but I can't even register. I suppose the system is only open for US orders and my order # is not valid.
Is there any way to track from Europe/Spain?

By the way, my dealer confirmed that CD will read MP3 discs (I didn't order the CD charger hoping iPod link will work soon ).

Welcom JMB.

I would imagine the only way to track would be through your dealer. They can access BMWAG and get status codes that tell them where in the production process the vehicle is.

Now the difficult part, the wait begins.

Welcome aboard, JMB !

That's right. No tracking online outside the US. For US customers only with a US VIN.
Radio will indeed play MP3.
The new software for it comes out this month and your car will have it.

BTW, CIP 16 will not support MP3. It will be 16.xx, but still in March.

MP3? Does that mean you ordered the Bus Nav?

Yup dealer confirms they downloaded 16.0 and no new E60 data on it, but confirm new update in about 2 weeks time should have it ( 16.1 or 16.2 )

No Bus Nav ordered, only Business Radio plus CD Charger preinstallation, no charger. (Why? My idea is that perhaps it will be useful if they release iPod - IDrive link )
