I see while looking through the gallery that some cars seem to have a white reflector at the turning signal (outermost) portion of the front headlight assembly, while others have orange. I thought it must be a model year phenomenon, but I am seeing lots of examples of 06 cars with the original orange. Can anyone shed any light??

I have a 530 on order, late Nov delivery (Canada). Thanks//

U.S. regulations require the amber reflector on the side of the car in front, hence the amber reflector as part of the headlight assembly.

European cars come with the white striped reflectors.

Not sure about Canada's laws or how the cars come....

Brochure can be misleading, cos the picture in there are Euro spec car. Laws in Canada are similar to the ones in U.S. so amber will most likely be the colour.
Check bmw.ca they show amber.
