Whats up fam!

Just drove the newest incarnation of the 535, was not necessarily bowled over. Loved the power, not crazy about all the electronic gizmos, styling.....guess it still has to grow on me.....what say you all?

The look of the F10 grew on me much faster than I anticipated, especially when I began seeing the M Sport package. I've driven the 528 and 535 and each feel adequate.
But every time I get behind the wheel I can't help but feel I'm in a Buick and not a BMW, from a size standpoint. It feels large and the hood is long.
With that said, I'm sure once I commit to the F10 adaptation will come quickly.

i agree with you on the styling. to me, the E60 with the M-Sport pkg or M5 full body looks a lot better than the F10, but im sure the styling will grow on me. I really like the M-Sport package they released for it. To be honest im scared to go test-drive the new F10s because i think id be hellbent on leasing one shortly thereafter. more than likely ill wait a couple years and then jump into a 550i or M5 (if my next couple career moves go as planned lol)

my vote for now is def E60 though

IMO the E60 body style is not a style that will last forever and will look old as more f10s hit the streets.

At the same time I'm not too thrilled about the size of the F10. I'd look at a new 3

yes....the cars have gained weight over the years, even the e60 is a fairly large car compared to a 5er from the 1980s or 90s but it seems to carry that bulk in a rather streamlined package.

The E9x is also on my radar for my next go - round....5ers have always been my favorite, but the F10 is a little Buick - ish to me....need something to match my sporting nature.

E60 FOREVER!

Seriously, the F10 just looks like a 7 series on diet with a botched nose job, and we all know how ugly the 7 series is! The E60 just has SO MUCH road presence! It just looks like a boss! Even now, 8 years later, it looks amazing. I've confused the F10 with a 7 series AND the new 3 series so many times it's not even a joke. I'll be waiting for BMW's next 5 series before I come anywhere close to moving on from this iteration (providing the new one looks like a boss!)

F10 is nice and I don't agree with the others that its too big. However, it feels too soft. It lacks the true sports feel of the E60. It's definitely a good looking car - reminds more of the E39 (which is a classic in terms of design, IMHO)than the E60. I think the design of the E60 is nowhere near as classic as the other two - although its looks much better with the M-Tech kit installed.

In the end, I go E60 mainly because of the way it drives.
