Opinion About Buying This 2007 535D
Hello guys, I am new here, I used to drive an 520D F10 about three years ago, then sold it. Now I have found this one E60 535D which looks good and well maintained as the owner says. He says he has not driven the car for about 6 months and the DPF is OFF. Should I be worried for the future if the DPF its canceled?
The car has some imperfections, like minor scratches, nothing terrible tho. I let you the VIN here to verify it on bimmer also some pictures.
The car has 247k KMs, that is about 153k Miles. Had 3 previous owners, the last one from 2014 until now.
The asked price it's 8450 EUROS - 10.366 $.
Vehicle has multiple options, 7 Series comfort seats, like rear heated seats, webasto, M Pack.
Car needs a bit of maintaining, the owner said he does not want to hide me the fact that I will have to put some money in it in the future, in case I buy it.
VIN WBANX91070CU44802 (bimmer.work)
So please let me know your opinion about the DPF off, about the price according to the look of the car and if I should buy it or skip it. Thank you!

Market value is different in different countries but my reaction is that this vehicle has pretty high kms for the price. BMW/Merc/Audi etc can look really good but be in poor condition under the surface.
I would look for one with lower kms. But if you like it and accept you might have to spend more on it soon... sure.

Thank you for your honesty!
What you believe it's the fair price for the car? Giving the fact that the owner was willing to negociate the price.
Here, this mileage it's pretty decent giving the year car was built. And it's hard to find a good car with real mileage.
I saw a previous vehicle few weeks ago with 142K MLS on the display, after a quick verify found out the fact that that car had 245k MLS and was bought from auction in a poor condition. (even seat heating was "created" by the person who wanted to sell the vehicle, didn't come as standard)

RED FLAG: Car needs a bit of maintaining, the owner said he does not want to hide me the fact that I will have to put some money in it in the future, in case I buy it.
Take a test drive if this car is still available. This is a fantastic car if You maintain it in proper condition and have an experienced mechanic at hand. Exceptionally good for long driving distances and high speeds.
