My Ride: 2005 e61 530d
Did the same on my old E39 528 to install CCFL rings, and was considering trying the same on my e61
Will be retrofitting an HID kit for main beam, as my car doesn't have them, and thought I might do a little experimenting.
On the E39 I had to heat the plastic with a hot air gun, then cut away the sealant. After the install I sealed them back up again but always got condensation after it rained
Anyone any experience?
