I must really like this car because I just bought another. Heading for Europe again to cruise the autobahn.
Question: How tough would it be to sell my current 550i to a private party? What is the market for a $50K used car and what is the best way to market the car (autotrader, BMWCCA, paper, etc.)? Any advise on how to find a qualified buyer would be appreciated.
I had a really super purchasing experience with zero hassles and a very good sales person. What a great way to do business!

You sound like Britney Spears
The best way to sell your old car is via autotrader.com. By the way, how is the performance difference between '06 and '08 models?

In the last 18 months, I sold a Chevy Tahoe via ebaymotors, a BMW 325 Wagon via Autotrader, and a Porche 996 Cabriolet via Craigslist. I had all three vehicles listed on all three sites at the same time. It takes a little hard work and a little luck to get a serious and qualified buyer. To me, it is worth the work because I hate the idea of getting killed on a trade in. I am in the market for a low mile, well cared for 550. If you want to send me details on your car, email me at sean@thewoodwardgroup.com
Good luck!
