are you sure you performed it correctly? did the windows roll all the way up and all the way down on their own after you went thru the process? That's how i knew I did not perform the reset correctly the first 2 times....


no way to disable the anti-trap function via iDrive in my '08/LCI e60 either

Yup did it 3 times still nothing. Strange

I had the same problem. Reset never worked. They replaced the window motor under warranty and it has been all good since.

in order for mine to work, I had to wait a little while longer so try to follow my procedure(which is almost the same):

1-Turn key to second position (radio on)
2-keep pressing down (2 clicks, press all the way) to open the window all the way
3-keep it pressed till the warning sign in your dashboard appears (Anti-trap sign with an exclamation mark). Unless this icon shows, keep pressing.
4-As soon as the sign shows, click up(2 clicks, all the way up) till the window closes. Do not remove your finger UNTIL the anti-trap sign goes away from your dashboard. THEN, you have had resetted your window.

Hope it works.
