Thumbs up

Soon i will buy a new 530d or maybe a 535d. In Croatia 530d costs 52 000 Euros, and 535d is 62 000 Euros. So, is it beter to buy a 530d with a 13,000 Euros of aditional equipment or a 535d with only 3000 euros of aditional equipment?

And what aditional equipment must have every BMW 5?
Recommendations?

Oh, my bad english... :'(

Tough choice, but on a budget, I'd go for the gadgets. Nothing wrong with the 530d apart from the fact there's a bigger one out there.
Go for the comfort seats, xenons and the Logic7 for sure.

Welcome.

Both are great cars, you could lose your drivers license in both.
I would have loads of options on the 530d.

For me a must is:

Logic7
Comfort Seats (Leather)
Nav Pro with HUD
Xenons

Advanced A/C is nice, because you have the Auto-recirculate feature, what really helps in our poluted citys in Europe.

Also Adaptive Forward Lighting is a very good feature!

530d - with the must have's
Auto box
Hi Fi Speaker package
Decent wheels! ( car look's ridiculous on 16's and marginal on 17's. ( recommend 124 style)
Nav (for resale also)
I Pod aux input
Active Steer
Comfort seats
Auto blinds (side + rear) if you have children
Std Air con is ok now the auto function actually works!

Choose carefully the paint trim combination. I'd look at Orient Blue/Beige leather
Choose a sport rather than SE spec.
Forget about sliding armrest/sports suspension (on SE)/Xenons (unless you drive at night a lot !)
make sure you get 8% discount ( seems to be the right ball park these days)
