The other wheels they sell are OEM reconditioned wheels, so they repaired and refinished, not that thats necessarily a bad thing, just as long as you know in advance.
Buying wheels off a private party, you are told how many mile are on 'em, and a lot of times you can probably even see the car they came off of.
I would think that to be a better altenative to buying "refurbished" wheels.

A company like VMR makes quality CSL reps. I also see a lot of E90 guys happy with their Miro M6 and CSL reps.
Just have to do your research.

Since the M6 167 (or 166) rears are already ET17, this will give you exactly what you want...the max push outward with NO rubbing and NO spacers, as long as you use 275/30/19 tires back there.
The fronts are ET12, regardless of which model...a 166 or 167 rim is the same up front no matter if it's for the M5 or M6. And it won't rub with 245/35/19's. There are lots of folks who have done the same rims (and 166's) with M6 offsets for their 5's.
If you still don't believe they'll fit perfectly, read this from IceyTys....he did the 166's with the M6 offsets for his 545, and they perfectly front and back!
