LuvE60, what is the MSRP of the car you ordered and from what dealer down here?

Peter,

before you do anything, one question:

Are you leasing or buying.? If you are leasing, at least get pricing on the 545.? Money factors are .001.? Money factors for the 525 and 530 are supposedly higher.? I am leasing a 545 that I am taking delivery of first week of May.? It is fully loaded other than you guessed it ACC.? I am paying $673/mo with $2500 down.? On a 525 with a 59% residual (3yr lease) with a .0027 money factor, you will pay $691 with the numbers you mentioned for MSRP and purchase price.? The 545 deals are spectacular right now.

If you are buying then I definitely understand why you are opting for the 525.? We love our 545 on this board.

Hope this helps.

Matt

Well I ordered it, the MSRP was $52,190, I paid $49,000. Which was about $1,250 above invoice. I decided to go with these options.

525
Orient Blue
Beige Dakota
Premium
Cold Weather
Automatic
Sunshades
Xenon
Navigation
Sirius
Comfort Seats
Park Distance Control

I have never really had a car that had a lot of gadgets, so that is why I just got the small engine.

Since the car is goming with navigation...will the dealership give me the latest DVD or do I have to start looking for it on Ebay? Thanks.

Just a thought that poped up when I saw my color as "Alpine White" on the delivery thing. Have you ever heard of a car that has been built wrong? On my Boxster's Black leather it came with Seal Gray stiching instead of Black. But I like it.

I am going to pay cash for it, so that gives me a little leverage on price.? I dont want to spend over $55,000 for a car.? I would rather have a car near full options than a faster one with less.? I am going to be driving this car in the city, and where gas is $2.50, so hopefully I will get better mileage.? I would definatly get a 545 if I did not have a Boxster.? Thanks, good idea.

Options,shmoptions. modify your order for a 530i.

Gas prices come on. That's a poor excuse if u have a Porsche and soon to be BMW. You will also be revving that 525i higher so the mileage issue will be a wash.

Boxster S yeah but regular boxster.
