oil light came on...

Car tells me its low on oil... can I remedy this by simply adding a quart or two? And what oil should I use?

Yeah all you need it's a quart of oil, go to the dealer and purchase one it shouldn't cost more than $15

for 5W30 should be 6-8 bucks... M oil is like $15.

Mobil 1 0W-40 at any auto parts store.


If I were you, I'd be more concerned with why the oil needed to be added. Oil must be either leaking (look under the car or around the engine) or the oil must be 'consumed' by the engine. Investigate further...
