Oil Leak at oil filter area

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.
I will do this soon, I think I have a couple thousand miles left to go before the change is due. Hopefully, this is just the O ring not situated correctly.

O ring was the problem. All looked normal when I removed it but before installing the new Mahle filter in wiped everything out and off really well applied a thin coat of clean oil to the inside housing and on the new o ring then properly torqued. So far several thousand miles with no further oil leakage.
