Hello everyone and happy new year.

today I did the DIY headlight restoration, everything went fine.. as I was cleaning my headlights and part of my hood. I thought It was a good idea to check all the fluids, so I checked the oil, I had the oil changed about 3 weeks ago and probably I put about 600miles on it now, the question is, does bmw synthetic oil gets brown very quick or maybe its just the color of the oil, sorry for the question I had to ask this one.. here is a pic of the oil color

As the other said, thats normal, some people uses other brand oil and get choked when it turnes black almost imidiatly, you can?t say anything about the oil on the color, lots of quality oils turn black very fast without loosing quality. There is also very bad quality oils that stays clear for long an people are comfortable ohh its nice clear still, as it destrois you engine while you are happy about the color, check the quality not the color i thing i wanted to ad :-)
