and I and dont buy the IS 350 beats the M3. I'm positive the M3 is faster. Numbers show it. Theres no way. its all driver. I mean I bet you Sabine in a Mini Van can beat you around the Nurburg ring in your 545.

Hey man, you know what you're doing. I think between you and I, it will definitely be a driver's race at least from 0 - 60. As we we approach triple digits the V8 is gonna walk you. The result will probably be just like what happened with Hollywood and Ice. Or I'll eat crow and you'll beat my a$$ all over the road.

just wondering...at which point of our 550 speed be able to pull away from an m3 or IS350 in a straight line race ? AFAIK...those 2 cars have roughly 5.4 sec 0-60 (am i right ?) and 550's 5.5 sec. Yet we do have an advantage in our hp..

Hmm new M3 no ? Why isnt it possible to beat them at 3 digit speed when we have a higher hp ? (360 vs 333)..oh and i presume u meant 70mph when racing against IS350 ? 10mph seems to be a little undermining the IS350...hehe

You should be able to beat an e46 M3 as you approach the speed limiter? As for the IS350, after 90 - 100 you'll walk him/her. The times you quoted are not to be trusted. If you ever read any of Znods straight line acceleration threads, he and Grogan545i are getting 5.0 unadjusted. And both have 545!

The new e92 M3 is going to make mince meat out of any 550/545.
