I have 2 set of wheels right now and both are reps and both are 100% OK
with the oem price I can get 4 set of reps.
I like to change wheels on a car just like buying new cloths for a new look.
But if you love these wheels and not planing on to change them in the future then get oem

I guess it comes down to preference and piece of mind, I've seen and read stories of rep wheels having a harsher ride at higher speeds (shaking). Some say the density of rep wheels are less so cracking and bending is more prevalent. My 2c is this, you went ahead and purchased a BMW, stay with that quality and go with the oem's (IMO)

Common, from what people have seen or heard is partial speculation, Most of the time its a persons bad experience with a vendor. I haven’t seen a Miro complaint regarding their rims and if I were to see one I would call them up and get their side.
Feels like there is a double standard when we talk about replica bmw rims compared to aftermarket ones like HRE Dinan BBS and OEM. It all boils down to know your vendor read on the product and ask others who have the brand you're interested in. Get the OEM guys opinions, the Replica opinions and the big named aftermarket opinions
This will gone on and on like the Miller commercial
TASTE GREAT!! LOL

As stated the 166 replica's dont look like the real deal, they look significantly different, so that why I wont purchase them. IE the design charactaristics are way off.
So what about the Miro 167's, are there major differences in the "LOOKS"? I am considering them becuase I like the styling, I think with anything in life you buy you assume the risk in quality.
Let me know guys, thanks

Thanks I appreciate everyones input, and I really think that 525iEnjoy is dead right, whats the different whether its replica or aftermarket, either its a good quality wheel or not? My main question on the original post was whether or not the replica 167 from Miro looked as good as the original in real life. Thats what I really wanted to know.

i have the miro replica's on my car and today i stopped by the bmw dealer and saw the real ones and all i can tell is that on the OEM, the anthracite inlays are just a tad bit lighter then the miro's.......the replica's look way more aggressive.....check out my wheels here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=49874&hl=
Sunny, perfect thanks thats what Ive been looking for, great pics BTW and on a silver, now I can really see how my car will look if I get these wheels.

Icetys,
I purchased the Miro 167's from the same retailer as Sunny and I am very happy. They are both correct with the differences in wheel finish and slight roundness on the edge, but there is not much difference between the two looks wise. My major concern was like everyone else is quality. I would have purchase OEM's, but I had a budget. So far so good, no speed wobbles or vibration, finish is equal to OEM, and retailer was also good. I am curious to see how the finsh holds up after 1 year and 4 seasons.
Good luck
