Ok so I've been doing a lot of research on this site for the past couple of days. Anyway after looking at some of the wheels I noticed that I have style 124 wheels on my 07 530i, but they are all 245/40 R18 (front and back). I have the sport package, but I know most 530i's w/ the sport package come w/ style 123 wheels. Does anyone else have this setup?

 

perhaps the dealership swapped the wheels out when the 530i was returned/sold to the dealership due to the 123's being damaged....I've seen all kinds of different set-ups at the dealer that did not fit the "usual"/"standard" set-up....124's on 528's...172's on 535i's...124's on non-sport 535i's.....etc..

 

Mine came with 123's. If you got 124's, that did not come from the factory unless a mistake.

 

I've always wondered about your setup. I thought about buying two of the 8" 124 wheels and sticking them on the back.

The big advantage for you is you can rotate the tires and even out the wear. those of use with staggered 124 sets go through about two rear tires for every front.

Do you have a picture? I'd be interesting to see how the the car looks with this setup.
