That's a waste of money. Car shipments will run you around $500-$1000 from here to Miami, one way. Ifyou want a transport company that does indoor transport (I highly suggest this), so your car stays protected from the elements, plan on paying double. There's also no gaurantee when your car will arrive, even though they give you an approximate date. They plan the route for all the other cars on your truck and since you're in Miami, you will obviously be last. I've done 2 transports thus far (1 was my E39) and the cars were FILTHY when I got them. Both required a major detail when I got them. A wash didn't help at all. If I ever do it over again, both will be shipping in indoor transports, even though it costs more. You're also not allowed to put a car cover on an exterior transport. Should it fly off the trailer during the drive down and hit another car on the road, that would be a huge disaster.
If you are willing to spend this kind of money, I would contact an exotic car rental company in Miami and rent an exotic for the time you're down there. Hell, it would probably end up being cheaper too and you can say you drove a Lambo or Ferrari.

As an alternative, there is an overnight car train that goes from Northern Virginia (7 hours from NY) to Orlando (4 hours from Miami).
Thank's Rick..

You drive down to DC or thereabouts and get on the train. The next morning you're in Orlando

I'm so sorry guys, I feel foolish. I thought there was a train for the car.
