Yeah, except all BMWNA is willing to do is log a complaint, which will then be discussed with Crevier. End result? See what happens. Worse comes to worse I will sell my car and go buy a 550 or an MB E550 - either way without CPO, I'll get a 3rd party warranty instead.

I wasn't really planning on buying my self a car until next summer, but if I have to get something now might as well get something enjoyable, preferably without an iDrive

 

What sucks most is I can't really sell my car until the iDrive works again. So since I have to fix it before replacing it I was thinking of getting this CCC Unit unless I find a better deal then this is the best I can find. Then just have to worry about labor and programming.

 

There is got to be a local place where you can get these parts used, although you would still need it to be programed.

 

That CCC unit in the link I posted above is from DDM Tuning, they have a shop in Huntington Beach.

Only problem with the E55 is you don't get the Forum support you do here.

But that power is so addicting.

 

LOL I would but who would take a car that doesn't have a working iDrive in as a trade? No one. So I have to fix it first then dump it.

 

so for the CIC upgrade in parts is around $1600 does anybody know how much is for labor, installation and reprogram.?
