I have searched and cant seem to find 545i n62 normal engine temperature.My obd says between 100c and up to 108c.Soory if its an old subject.

New Member 1st post may as well be a ?? too. How do you even tell what temp the water is with no guages(or idiot lights) of any type that I have found in the month I have had this new to me 04 525i.

A series of trip reset button pushes gets you to a hidden menu.Google it youll find it.Yep its hard as a newbie on some of these boards.I had a 1000hp Toyota Supra and lived on Supraforums.com,they are the hardest to get a reply.Found a little talk but cant remember where 100c to 110c can be normal.Guess these engines really run hot.My guess it was a shotgun fix for U.S.emissions.
