i was in my car tonight and my oil light came. in my screen please add oil you could do damage to the engine. the car only has 800
miles on it and its a little over 2 months old. i went to get some oil and it only took less than a quarter og the bottle.

Yes, it's normal. I've known some 550i owners who have had to add oil with less than 1000 miles.
