Choppy ride and noise from Dunlop SP Sport 01 Run Flats.
At 18,000 miles dealer replaced all 4 tires with the same Dunlop RF?s per SIB #36-02-05.
18,000 miles later same thing is happening again and the dealer told me the new tires will cost me $1538 plus 4 hours of labor.
Isn?t SIB #36-02-05 still applied here?

Do a search on Dunlop tires. You will find a lot of articles about it.

The service bulletin applies -- they'll give you new Dunlops again.

(I had three replacement sets for a total of four sets on my 2004 car...)

thanks for a quick reply. what I don't understand is that why do they replace with same type of tires that are known to cause the problem? so are we going to have to keep replacing tires before 20,000 miles' up? what happen after 4 yrs/50,000 miles warranty is up?
