Got a squeaking / grinding noise from steering wheel / column. Anyone else getting this? If so is just a lubrication issue or design fault?

yeah, i experienced it too. but i dont really pay attention to it.. do u think its normal?

Had it as well Merv, it got annoying - dealer tried lubrication: no result = replaced the steering wheel under warranty.

I had the same issue...dealer replaced my steering rack. hopefully that's not your issue.

I don't think its normal for a quality car to make this sort of noise - No!
