Hey ive read many post on here that sound similar but are not. I hope someone that has experience this can help me out..

I have a 2004 e60 530i. so lets say Im parallel park and I want to get out , if i turn the wheel while in drive with the brake pedal applied it makes a loud noise when i turn the steering wheel in either direction.

any of you have experienced this? I did hit a pot hole a while back, im thinking ball bearings might be messed up.. any clues guys??

 

Tie rods or ball joints
