I have had my car about two weeks now, and prior to the last few days I would get a tone and a
yellow key graphic when I turned the car off.

As a test I left the lights on turned the car off and again , no warning, or tone , or light graphic. The car runs fine , and before I call my SA anyone else have this slight problem and is it a warning of things to come?

That's a problem I haven't heard about before.
Don't know how serious it is, so better check with your dealer!

I have the same tone / chime with a yellow key graphics, when I remove the key then open the door immediately. I thought the yellow key graphics is telling me the key is still in the ignition. If I remove the key and wait a few seconds longer before opening the door, I don't hear the chime w/ yellow key warning.

i think the tone and graphic are both on when your the key is in the ignition and/close to the ignition. i've never heard the tone or seen the graphic when the key is removed.

Can you perform this test for me? Shut off engine, remove the key then open the driver's door immediately. This action is very routine for me. I do hear the chime and get the yellow key graphics.

Itried the test and got an interesting result.
If I turn the car off and quickly open the door before I remove the seat belt I get the chime and the key graphic.
If I remove the seat belt then turn the car off and open the door no chime , no graphic.
Thanks, I believe it's OK , maybe the seat belt effects chime, but I'm not going to worry about it.

I ordered red reflectors today should be in wednesday, $15.75 USD ea. BTW, when I pick them up I may ask my SA about it if he's free.
