The 3 Series Sedan has never had them on a bumper, they are integrated into the rear lights

My '05 came with silver color coordinated/matched inserts, but they still looked very much out of place and I replaced them with the Euro ones. IMO, anything other than the Euro reflectors looks out of place, as it should since they were designed like that for a reason.

Agreed, even though the color matched inserts are a vast improvement over the black plastic inserts, they still look out of place.

Count me in as one who thinks that the reflectors look best, followed by the body color inserts, etc.

I replaced the body colored inserts with the red reflectors--looks much better. The body colored inserts just looked like an afterthought.

They are supposed to be REFLECTORS - for safety reasons - and they also look good in red.

What could possibly make them a safety issue? I think it's a vast conspiriacy to make the aftermarket $$$$$$.

I just don't get why the Fives don't come from Germany with the Red Reflectors. There are plenty of cars out there such as Mazda and Lexus that have the red reflectors, so I know it isn't some kind of 'U.S.' legal issue.
