As I've said before, I get RDS on all the stations that broadcast it in "All Stations" view.? I'm under the impression that Business Radios don't do that.?

Also, I have WB or "Weather Band".? Is this a useful clue as to which radio I might have??

Regardless, I think BMW promised MP3 support for the US 2006 MY.? They delivered.?

I agree, this adds to the confusion, because I have no Navigation and have had RDS from day one. According to this and other threads, I DON"T have Radio Pro because I don't have Nav. But I do have RDS are you saying that Business Radio can't have RDS?. Who knows...

I had read in another thread that being able to see more than one station of RDS information at a time (like in All Stations view) meant you had a Professional Radio, but I don't know if that was accurate information.

Interesting! I'll have to try "All Stations" this evening on the ride home to see what I get.

From the moment I got my CIP upgraded to 16.2 which enabled MP3 play.. I am just listening to one MP3 CD which contains 150 songs ... that is all what I want ..
and I did not touch the CD changer .. untill now

Comparison

MP3 One CD = 150 songs

CD changer
CD1= max 20 songs
CD2= max 20 songs
CD3= max 20 songs Total = 120
CD4= max 20 songs
CD5= max 20 songs
CD6= max 20 songs

The winnnner >>> MP3

but let me imagine ?? if MP3 enabled in CD changer too .. then I can listen to to ?? I am not good in calcuation 150 x 7 = may be 1000 songs ...

Right, although I prefer to think in "albums". Roughly 70 albums if we get the changer enabled.

Not to mention you get artist and album listings at the disc menu level, and full track name information for each song. Far superior to CD.

You're right, but BMWUSA communicated this to Car and Driver (the automotive press) which amounts to the same thing.
